The Admin portal is a separate area of HoLaCe where the firm-level controls live. Most attorneys and paralegals never need to open it. If you’re aDocumentation Index

FIRM_ADMIN, you’ll spend time here whenever you onboard a new teammate, review billing, or change how HoLaCe looks for your firm. If you’re a SUPER_ADMIN (HoLaCe staff), you have an even broader admin surface that spans every firm on the platform.

What lives here
The admin portal groups firm-management tasks into a few sections:Users & Roles
Add teammates, assign roles, deactivate accounts, trigger password resets.
Billing
Pay-per-use rates, monthly statement, document pricing config, CSV export.
Branding
Firm name, logo, colors, letterhead, demand-letter signature blocks.
Integrations
Stripe, DocuSeal, Resend email — turn on what you need.
How admin work fits into the rest of HoLaCe
Admin work is infrastructure: you set things up once and revisit only when something changes (a new hire, a price change, an integration to enable). The day-to-day case-management work happens in the dashboard, not here. A useful mental model:- Admin portal — who can use HoLaCe, how it looks, what it costs.
- Dashboard — the work itself (pipeline, journeys, demand letters, settlements).
- Settings (organization, user profile) — preferences that don’t need the full admin portal.
Need to change your own personal preferences (name, email, theme, avatar)?
That lives in Settings → User Profile,
not the admin portal.
