HoLaCe ships with a small, opinionated set of third-party integrations. Each one solves a specific problem and is optional — you can run HoLaCe without any of them, and you can enable them at your own pace as your firm grows. Open the Integrations page from Admin → Integrations. [Screenshot: Integrations page with Stripe, DocuSeal, and Resend cards showing connect/disconnect state]

Stripe (billing)

What it does: processes the monthly HoLaCe subscription and the pay-per-use charges from your Billing dashboard. Stripe is the billing rail, not a feature you pay extra for. When to enable: automatically wired up when your firm is provisioned. You’ll see a Stripe customer portal link on the Billing page where you can update card on file, download invoices, and review subscription history. What you need: nothing on your end the first time — HoLaCe staff create the Stripe customer when your account is provisioned. After that, all card and invoice management happens in the Stripe customer portal. If your accounting team needs raw invoice data, use the Billing CSV export. For card changes and receipts, use the Stripe portal link.

DocuSeal (e-signature)

What it does: sends documents for legally binding electronic signature without leaving HoLaCe. Used for fee agreements (intake), HIPAA authorizations, settlement releases, and anything else that needs a client signature. When to enable:
  • Your firm wants to send fee agreements through HoLaCe rather than DocuSign or HelloSign.
  • You want signed disbursement statements as part of the closeout workflow.
  • You want every signed document automatically filed in the journey’s Documents tab.
What you need: click Connect DocuSeal. HoLaCe runs DocuSeal on a private Railway instance — you don’t manage it, sign up for it, or pay separately. The connection happens with one click and stays active for your whole firm. Where signed docs land: every completed signature event posts the executed PDF back to the originating journey’s Documents tab, auto-tagged with the document type (fee agreement, HIPAA, release, disbursement).

Resend (email)

What it does: sends every outbound email HoLaCe generates — magic-link sign-ins, assignment notifications, deadline reminders, demand letter delivery, and reply notifications from clients on intake forms. When to enable: automatic when your firm is provisioned. Resend uses HoLaCe’s domain by default, so emails arrive looking like they came from hello@holace.io. Custom sending domain (optional): if you want emails to go out from your firm’s domain (@yourfirm.com) instead of @holace.io:
  1. Add your domain in the Resend integration card.
  2. Add the DNS records HoLaCe shows you (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  3. Verify — usually takes 10 minutes after DNS propagates.
  4. Toggle “Send from custom domain” to on.
Outbound emails now appear to come from your firm directly, with full deliverability scoring. [Screenshot: Resend integration card with DNS records expanded for verification]

What’s not here yet

A handful of additional integrations are on the roadmap (Twilio SMS, calendar sync, court e-filing). They aren’t shipping today — when they do, they’ll appear on this page with the same connect / disconnect / configure pattern.
Need integration data flowing into accounting (QuickBooks, Xero)? Use the Billing CSV export. Direct accounting integrations are roadmap, not shipping.
